Default Car Audio is dying but I was offered....

A Store Manger job for car audio. So, I ask the question... Would you take it? Heres the scenario:

First, I would have to move 2.5 hours away.
My beeeeatch would have to find another job.
I would worry about the the dying sport
I havent worked for anybody for the last 3 months and the reason is... I havent looked. Why? I started something up that actually is doing pretty well right now.
Pay wise, Ill be making about the same or a little more what I doing now, but its not guaranteed like the store mgr position

vote

edit:
ok let me rephrase my statement. Car audio is dying in stand alone stores. The sales are going to online sales instead of shops

competing may be dying but there is always an abundance of 16 year old kids looking to buy anything you want to sell them. I'd take the job personally.

I've seen nothing but sales growth throughout the recessionary period -- car audio still has a chance; at least for a while

But... how difficult would it be for your woman to get a new job. Are there an abundance of jobs in her field ?

Do you own a home where you are ? If so may be hard to sell and move right now.

Car audio IS NOT DYING!!!! Car audio professionalism is dying (due to sites like this and greedy wholesalers selling direct). There are more brands than ever before and more customers willing to buy equipment.

If the place does alarms and remote starts then it will survive at the least, possibly thrive. There will be a market for those for at least another 5-10 years imo.

Not an owner and shes is an accountant so wouldnt be too hard. Just take a while to find a company she likes... And she really likes her current company

This, my buddy works at a local shop and he says during the winter months a good 80% of their sales are remote starts and alarms.
