so today was a beautiful Texas winter day, sun shining, birds singing, a nice warm 81 degrees, yea that's right 81

now 6 hours later, this is the scene outside...

i've never seen anything like this, it windy, raining, hailing, lightening, and snowing all at the same time! i've never seen lightening and snow together

and the low tomorrow is supposed to be 9 degrees, that's the lowest temp its been in the 12 years i've lived here.

thats what it does here, hot as hell then drops fast and snows next day it's gone

oh i know some of y'all have it way worse, we're only expected to get 3-5" of snow, but that is a lot for us in west Texas, it's about the equivalent of new york city having a tornado, and to go from 81 to snowing in 6 hours is ridiculous.

I'll trade ya both. Its raining outside and when it hits the ground instantly turning to ice. Huge sheet of ice everywhere. Can't stand up anywhere you try rocks, grass, my porch all a huge sheet of ice and getting worse as I type.

that's how its getting here, the entrance to my apartments is a pretty steep hill, i almost wrecked leaving because i slid right down it and out into the street.
