What do yall think of grabbing those 2 things then just running everything like car audio. I have a fuse holder i believe and about 30 Feet of 8 Gauge. I have a 12" and i would be a component set and build a box for them. and run it off a CD player boom box thing.

The second one wont work, and I doubt the first one will supply enough amperage to do what you need.

You need to either get a plate amp, or a power supply. That is really the only way to do it. I had a car amp ghetto rigged in my room, which I guess you could do.

I was testing a small POS amp for a co worker so I just used my trucks old walmart batt, and a battery charger to act as an alt, and just used 14AWG speaker wire for power and ground because it was only like a 8" run. Then stuck my DVOM on the batt, and a switch inline with the rem wire so I could turn the amp off.

If you do it that way just keep an eye on the voltage.

I bought in ebay a rv battery maintainer or charger, turns 120 to 12.8 volts at 45 amps...got mine for 40 bucks shipped its an iota unit model dls-45, they cost 100 plus, but sometimes you can find used ones like i did, then use a small sealed battery, I have 3 12'v batteries that are like 9ah, thats good for some decent sound, but a car batt will be better with that maintainer charger deal

why spend that much when you could get a surround sound or shelf system for around 200 and probably sound better
