You suck! You abos****inglutly KNOW nothing about Car Audio to make a comment like that! Caps stiffen the power and give the amp the power it needs on demand.

ok i know nothing... i have a system.... you dont have a hint of anything car audio related...

ok... why spend $50 on a 1 farad cap when you can buy a battery for about $20 more and have 100X the power of a cap...

i have 5 batteries in my car,,, caps are a waste of money...

buy a system... learn car audio... then come back and talk bout me...

I hit 142.3 dB iwith 2 Crossfire DVC bridged off a Lanzae Vibe230 on a SPL off against someone running 4 AudioBhan 12in DVC bridged running 2 amps an hit 144. And were ever you are that Caps cost $500 you are overpaying. Caps around here are Max $200 for a 5F. BTW i have a Kicker Solobarc L7 12in in a Ported box running Bridged off a Lanzar Viberant 266 pushing 1200W. 14V alternator an 8G wires both from battery so less line loss. so i know what im doing Bucko!

5 ferrets.... ok you might as well throw a hampster wheel in the back and say those ferrets will stop the light dimming....

i paid $270 for 4 batteries...hmmm... 3750amp... i have a stock alt.... 0 gauge wire.... 1 sub in the back... and pulled a 145.7 YESTERDAY at the comp in Glen burnie MD

Hmmm running a 1200 watt amp off a 8 guage wire....No you don't know what your doing, 8 guage is good upto like.... 600-800 watts. not 1200 4 guage will barley give you 1200 watts. And 142.3 with 2 12's good job.... Try 144.7 with ONE 10. then you can say you know what your doing

Hah, if you knew what you were doing you wouldn't run 8ga wire to your 1200w Amp, So lets say, you are doing 1200w, at 14v, thats 85 amps, very good 8gauge wires are rated at 50amps for at 20ft. Also, what is the box tuned at, do you know?

lol you know nothing, caps suck balls. Just because you craptacular system has a cap, doesn't mean there good. look at ANY serious competitor and tell me if you see a cap... you'll see batteries. Not hatin on you or anything but caps are bullshit

a cap would be a good choice cuz they hold more volts than a battery but you only need 1 cap. well idk it really doesnt matter just whatever fits your budget i guess.

I have used caps before, but never for anything over 1000 watts. i think i was running like 800 watts with a 5 farad cap... lights still dimmed. After that i just got a battery, problem solved
