Default Tire shine: Gel VS Spray-on?

Yo yo yo.

I currently use armor all extreme tire shine spray, which i love. it gives it that "dripping" wet looks that i was looking for.
Armor All - Product Detail

Now the question is, would the gel kind be any better? what are the ups and downs between gel and spray kind?

i guess i could spend $10 and find out for myself, but i wanted to ask my fellow car audio members first! haha

Thanks!

I use the gel. It comes out real nice and shiny but doesn't have the whole "wet" look like sprays have.

Gels last longer in my experience. I also prefer how gels look, but they're just more tedious to put on. Also, you'll get a better result if you scrub the tirewalls with a tire brush, that way you remove the old gel/spray and all the dirt that's stuck in it.

As listed Gels are nice due to the longevity of the shine as well as the overall "shine" factor they make but they tend to "fling".. Drive a few miles and you will see some spots along the side of the car from it flinging off. IMO the best over the counter tire shine is this http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/g13115.html... It's a refined aerosol but goes on simular to gel. It last quite long and does not "fling" ...

Miller, that is what I use too. The gels do tend to leave spots on the side skirts/ rocker panels as soon as you start to drive after applying it.
