Thinking of buying a router. Will not be used in heavy construction sites, just some around the house diy projects and car
audio enclosures, ampracks, speaker rings.... With that said i'd still like to get quaility over cheap ones. The thing is that i never had or even used one so i'm lost as to what it is i'm suppsoed to look for when shopping for one. Features? Specs? Weight? Brand? Accessories?
All my power
tools are Makita so Makita router is "close to home" lol just to match the rest of my tools but i know that anything that has Makita name on it is pricy and for what i need it to do i'm not sure if there's a reason to pay for "makita".
Any info on it is appeciated. Not sure about budget but somewhere around $200 should do fine since from what i see lots of Dewalt/Milwaukee/Porter Cable's are in that price range.
