Default Louder?!

I am in the midst of a new build. At the moment I cant decide between two 15's or four 8's. I already have two of the sa-8's but I could easily forget them and go with two fifteens. I listen to every type of music and play my system as loud as I can whenever I can. What would be louder to the ear? I am not worried about the termlab score I just want to be loud to the ear with this build. What do you think?

I would have to say it really all depends on the type of 15's you are thinking of going with. My buddy has 4 sa-8 subs on Kicker KX2500.1 and it is LOUD!

They are under the rear seats of a Toyota Tundra. I'm sure they would be much louder in something like your X-Terra.

Again though, really all depends on the 15's you're thinking of going with

All depends on power, install, voltage, design, etc.
What kind of power do you have?

Right now I am trying to decide which subs to go with before I buy my amps. I can buy whatever I decide on though. I have plenty of room for proper airspace. Either will be a ported box and I will be running a few xtra batteries and a high output alt. I just want loud to pound the streets daily.
