Default Worst Triple point HeatWave show, horrible

I recently attended a 2 day car show, includes USACI spl, low riders and other stuff..South Padres Island MArch 7-8

This was the most miserable show I have ever seen,

Not one major demo truck, Last past years we had JBL, KICKER, TREO, USAMPS, SOUNDSTREAM,MEMPHIS, and there was always a couple..

This year you had to settle for the vehicles made by the consumers...

Also only kinetik was giving posters were all the times I have attended there are numerous posters, decals, pens, and stuff like that..

Have anyone else seen shows that are less then impressive?

Could it be the economy?

Or simply a not organized show?

Anyways I felt bad after a 450 mile round trip on my 15mpg truck..lol..

yeah, i have seen some bad shows, I think the poor demo turnout has more to do with the economy then bad promoting, everyone is trying to conserve what moneys they have to try and weather the storm...

I would also blame it on on economy combined with bad staff work/promoting. The sales of the companies are really starting to have an impact. Especially large ones like pioneer and panisonic, no CES booth this year. Panisonic is done with car audio... and I think pioneer is done with home audio/video. Just what I was told.

Yeah, with more budgeting and less cash flow and credit to use many people and companies are feeling the strain. It was just a matter of time before we saw it hit our shows.

economy is killing shows this year, I know we no longer have sanctioned events in wisconsin, hopefully it will pick up next year.
