Default Shotgun Owners

Post up some pics of your shotguns

I'm looking to get a new shotgun... budget is under $600.

I want it to look like, or be a tactical shotgun, BUT............I also want to shoot with it, so needs interchangeable barrels...This seems hard to find so far, but I don't know much about guns in general. So far I am looking at a Benelli Supernova Pump, and some Mossberg 500 and 535 models...

I also found out I can get a different collapseable stock some to look like a tactical shotgun which is good.... any recommendations BASED ON MY CRITERIA let me know... I want to shoot geese, pheasant,quail...etc etc

If you know of any tactical shotguns that have 24"+ barrel or interchangeable, please let me know

I have a Mossberg 500 with pistol grip and flashlight. and a Benelli over/under. Both 12GA. The Mossberg is for home defense and the Belli is for bird and skeet shooting

I sold mine, unfortunately.

However a friend has a cheaper setup, it's a 870 Express Magnum

Just spent 40 bucks and ordered a hogue pistol grip + hogue front grip, gun looks great and it's very sleek.

If you want tactical, I would look at a nice shotgun in the 400 dollar range and buy the upgrades online yourself

For bird hunting I would personally go no lower than a 22" barrel

Ive got a 24" benelli nova pump and love it. Shes all black and sexy lookin'.
far as i know you can change the barrels BUT for the price of a 2nd barrel you may as well of bought a 2nd gun and have 2.
couple cool perks about the novas (dont know about the other models) is that you can load 3.5" shells that hit like a train and take down the big birds, and they have a button on the bottom of the fore-arm that you can press before you eject the empty cartridge which keeps a new cartridge from being loaded.
It is my first and only shotgun, but i gotta say im pretty impressed with it.

My brothers got an all black 18" tactical remington 870 with a ghost ring sight and a tactical ported choke, it looks rad and shoots great but the short barrel is more ideal for shooting down a hallway rather than hunting with it.

Im a gun nut....rem 870 is my favorite, if you dont mind a pump...I dont care for pumps, but I paid 575$ used for my 1187 special purpose, then spent a few hundred modding it....but Id say 870 just because there is so much you can do to them, more and easier to mod than the mossberg, and just as reliable.

a lot of times you can pick up the 870 with two or 3 barrels in a package, deer, duck and defense type package......its easy to swap barrels.
