Default box options

Ok, so today I got the basic box build demensions done and built. The box came out to 6.23ft3. I am running 2 RF punch Hx2 15's, which call for a 2.5ft3 per sub box. I was going to run them at 3ft3 each to possibly get better spl. I have also an older Eclipse aluminum 15 which is the single coil model, so I looked up the specs on that and found out for competition they call for a 1ft3 sealed box. So I was woundering should I seal off 1ft3 of the current box and through that sub in there and run the other two with the 2.5ft3 as recommended from RF? The two RF's will be ran off one amp and the Eclipse off its own.

Let me know what you all think so I can get it done tomarrow.

Thats after sub displacement and the im figuring the port and if I did do a sealed section should take up that extra .23 or so of the 6.23ft3 box, so should work up to be 5ft3 for both hx2's and the 1ft3 for the other 15 like recommended.

Well i'mma say it like this, 3 cubes seem to big for those subs, and 2.5 sounds better. Personally i wouldnt do what your planning but i can't sit here and tell you that it won't be louder. Where at in the box is this 1 cube gonna be at? If you can do a quick sketch that would be great.

Man I have been trying to do a scetch but not working out for me. basically it is a slant back with the subs (hx2) firing forward into the cab (seats down/ removed for now), port forward facing into the cab. the slant would be facing the trunk lid. I would make 1ft3 on the slant back part and mount the Eclipse firing of the trunk and the rest the same. hope that makes any since, but if this is a bad idea i will just do the 2 hx2 15's.
