Anyone know anything about DC motor design? I'm looking to design/build a motor to turn at 15-20k rpm, create a decent bit of torque (I don't know the exact amount, but I will try to find that out), and use as little current as possible (12v). I found some N42 neo magnets that would probably work well (increase B) which allows us to decrease I. Torque being T = I*L*B*W*sin(theta), where T is torque, I is current, L is length of wire in the field, B is magnetic field, W is width of the coil (effectively moment arm), and theta is the angle between the normal of the coil and the magnetic field.
