I'm in no way an expert here but a PR basically is moved by the other sub that will be in the box correct? Why not put 2 subs in there to begin with? Lol. Not trying to bash the idea just want to understand the pros and/or cons on putting a PR instead of an actual sub in it's place.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Because the pr doesn't need power.

Two subs would still be two subs in a sealed box -- for the SA-8 a sealed box SUCKS. I have much much more deep down bass output than I would with two of them sealed.

So off the same power. 1 sa8 + 1 PR better/more bass out put than 2 sa8's sealed?

The PR acts in a similar way as a port, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, a port and a PR have almost the same characteristics. PR's have no chuffing and you can tune a small enclosure much lower and not have to worry about fitting a properly sized port.

He worked in Las Vegas for RE. Years ago when I bought a sub from him, he looked at my address and said "You live down the street from my parents" or something to that effect. He's now back in the area with his home and his shop.

For some, he is willing to meet you in Sardis, MS or Southaven, MS to save the local guys some shipping. I make sure to meet at his convenience and not mine. I can take a long lunch. When David isn't building speakers, he's not making money. It's a small business so I do everything I can do to help him.
