Default platform2 or 3?

I have to choices now, run my skar 1500 to 1 platform 2 18" or run 2 skar 1500's strapped to 1 platform 3 18". My question is how good is the platform 3 for daily use, probably will never see a comp? I want to put 1 18, sub and port up in scion xb hatch. Whats opinion on which one with that power? If I can get away with close to 6cubes or less would be great too

The PF3 is great for dauly use. To use it with 3000w rms, you'll need the biggest, baddest one that we can build you though.

The PF3 will like the smaller box more than the PF2 would.

If the money is a concern, use the amp you have, with a PF2 18".

If you've got the cash, alternator, batteries, etc.. the PF3 will be LOUD!

I'd go with the platform 3 and strap the amps, if you have the electrical to back it...

Hey expo, I dont want to thread jack or anything but I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to make my 2011 scion xb the stupidest loudest daily driver to ever wear a scion logo but we are so limited on space. Have you had a system in yours yet? I had an hdc3 on 2200w. Fired up and sounded bad, flexed my roof like a water bed lol Pointed back and lost about 1.5 cubs to do so but sounded better. I'll start my own tread about his but PSI we'd both probably love to see how loud you can make our scions. I have 6k on tap.. so sky is the limit
