Answer these questions so he will know exactly what you want:

We need to know:
What size does it need to be?
What impedance you will need?
How much power does it need to handle?
The enclosure size or vehicle you'll use it in?
The type of music that you'll listen to with it?
Will you be competing with it? Competitions only?
Any special colors?
Upgrades of any sort? Direct leads, carbon fiber dustcap?
Any budget in mind?

It's gotta be a 15 d2 its going to be in a 4. Cube box tuned to 35 Hz for daily use mostly listien to rap songs with heavy bass I'd like it to be able to hold 3k-4k Max Watts I'd like to get the carbon fiber f*** it logo ....the sub I have is in perfect working condition now. The re mx have the Neo magnets would it be possible to get a more heavy duty bigger magnet on there

Do you want a custom sub from David's PSI line of drivers or do you want your RE sub reconed? I can't tell from your posts. If you want a recone, but want a different motor then it is up to you to find the motor. If this is the case, it would probably be easier to buy a PSI brand sub to fit your needs.

In either case, he will do his best to meet your goals. He's my "custom" sub - Quote on Franken-woofer Assembly - Car Audio Classifieds

Would it be possible to get quotes on both either just getting my re reconed. Or having it rebuilt ...would having it reconed change the power handling and to have it rebuilt I would need to find a motor correct? And would any motor I find work or is there specific ones

I'm sure David can supply both quotes.

Reconing can definitely change the power handling depending on the parts chosen.

If you find a different motor to have it rebuilt, then the only original part is the basket.

After looking at the MX line of subs, why do you want to change the motor? Since that sub doesn't use any standard parts, finding a different motor will be difficult if not impossible.

Then why the recone?

If you can find one that fits, you can probably get a bigger magnet but not one more powerful. Neodymium magnets are known for their strength. Just because a magnet is big doesn't mean it is more powerful. You have to look at the material and motor design.

I see now pretty much what I was aiming for was to change the re mx to a spl sub but now I think I may just sell it nd start from scratch so now is there a list of parts or would I just find a motor and basket and leave the rest to Dave and also how would I know if the parts fit each other o and by the way that re mx was great
