Yes, this is one of the reasons people should be more careful when using such big power amplifiers, they will drive speakers to the limit, so lower impedance rise and more prone to rocking.

The numbers posted on the SD don't surprise me at all. I'm not sure of the other units but I've seen enough of the SD power houses in action and can say will all confidence that they will produce their rated output... and more.
