Default 98AckCL23's Build Log

I figured I'd throw together a build log since I just uploaded pics from my Big 3, as well as new amp, and old/new box designs... enjoy, and let me know what you think/if you have any questions...

Big 3

supplies...

grounds

Ring terminals in the fuse box

Alt +

Fuse box to bat +

Old box layout

Top down, would be rear firing sub, rear facing port, but the length of the port wouldn't work for something I wanted to do...

So now, I have this:
New box layout:

This is before any 45's are put in or anything like that... Basically it's just a rough model of what's going to be done. It's 1.8ft^3 tuned at 30Hz with 21.75"^2 of port area for an AA Havoc 12.

And the amp pushing it:

that's it for now, as most of this is in the planning stage, but I have some pretty big plans for the trunk/install...

Got some vids tonight... It's dark outside so i lit up the garage a bit, and did what I could... The trunk's a mess but the T1's on its way out,(hopefully it'll be sold this weekend) so I hope to get the new trunk done in like 2 weeks... Enough talk, and on to what everyone wants to see...

Thoughts?

New goodies came today:

And here's the box design:

It's 2.46 cubes before driver and 45* displacements tuned to 33 Hz with 25.375 sq inches of port area...
Hopefully I'll be able to pull my front 5.25" comps out for a trade deal for some midbass' and a box build starting tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then for sure this weekend...
