To fabricate in the dash? Explain what you are trying to do. If you are tying to build a new fiberglass dash you don't need a mold. A mold is needed if you are trying to replicate something. Or you can build a custom dash with wood and fiberglass and then when its done you can use it to make a mold that way you can make one that is all fiberglass. Or are you trying to use the dash as a mold? like laying foil tape or plastic down to copy the shape?
I apologize I was rushing...but I have a tablet that I want to fabricate into the dash where the factory radio is..and since nobody make a kit for it that's my only option
First off decide if you wanna use figerglass as like a pocket for your tablet or you want to make like a wooden frame to hold your tablet. If you want the pocket, I suggest wrapping your tablet in some plastic and then foil and tape it, then lay your fiberglass mat on it
I want to make it so the tablet will slide in the top. The way I see a the ipad kits are made I don't think I will like that to well. I think the vibration from the bass might make the tablet fall out
