Default Need Advice on Components

Now that I've successfully built a serious daily ground-pounder, I want to improve my front stage. By improve I mean in SQ as well as more output.

I'm currently running these Pioneer components on this Alpine 4 channel.

They sound decent to me (on rap hip hop), but the tweater is REALLY bright, the vocals sound "like tin" to me and the midbass is almost non-existent.

My main question is:

Most 4 channel amps are 2ohm stable but most components are only rated around 80 RMS, even the higher end Hertz and Focal's.

What are people running for high end components that have good SQ and get loud - and are they running 2 or 4 ohm?

I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

I'm rich beotch. Just kidding.

If my amp is good enough then I'm OK dropping 5-600 or so on comps.

I've got a set of Hertz coax in the rear that I'm OK with, so only looking to upgrade 1 set of components in the front right now.

Look into CDT, they have a few sets that run 2ohm and hold pretty good power.

I have a set of Hertz 3 way components (the HSK163's) that I ran with about 200 watts per side. They did really well and got plenty loud. Honestly something with a softer dome on the tweeter will sound good and help with the brightness that you had in the old sets.
