Default Sound quality buid in a vintage truck?

I am currently restoring a 1973-79 Ford F-100 regular cab. I would like to do a SQ oriented build once it is finished. I know trucks, especially 40 year old regular cab trucks, aren't the most audio freindly enviroment. Has anyone attempted anything like this on this forum? I currently have two set ups, a 2003 Expedition with ID CTX65CS comps, a pair of SA-12D4 on a GS Redline GS10000 with a Pioneer AVH-P3400BH HU and a 2002 Mustang GT with a Massive MKi6 compset, a pair of Incriminator Lethal Injection dual 2 ohm subs, a pair of Soundstream Human Reign Unleashed 4 channel amps (one bridged for subs, the other active for the comps) and an Alpine CDA-117. I will be upgrading the Mustangs front stage to a Rainbow Power set shortly.

Default where in FL

I'm nearing completion on my project. Depending on where you are I'd be into that truck. LMK - I'm in FL on the Treasure Coast.

What year exactly? Asking mainly about where the gas tank is i guess. What is in you favor is the plentiful amount of room on the floor do do kicks or something. The vent control on the driver''s side might be an issue there though. The dash would also make a good candidate for a set of horns. What kind of seat/s? Stock bench, or something else. Space for the amps, subs, and any outboard processing might get pretty tight. I have had a few of that body style truck and am pretty familiar with them. Got any pictures of your plans and progress?

Gas tank is under the bed. Seat is a stock bench. Right now the truck is basically a cab and chasis. I just got the frame back from powder coating about 3 weeks ago and we mounted the cab. Plans are subject to change, but right now I am looking at a stock bodied, lowered stance, small block powered street truck. I am most likey going to use an single amp to power the Rainbow comps and a single sealed sub (leaning towards the IA Flatlyne). I will pick up a suitable alternator. The HU is an Alpine CDA-117... I. May swap it for a Pioneer 80PRS, IDK yet.

Sounds like a good start. There is a reasonable amount of space behind the stock bench seat for the stuff you need to find a home for.
Kick panels then? The other obstacle with going this way is that old high/low beam switch on the floor. I am sure with some creativity you could find a way to relocate that and the vent controls.

I will probably eliminate the floor vents. And the dimmer switch won't be much of a problem. I was thinking kicks, in your experience is this the best location in these old trucks?
