Default Another SQ noob needing help

I am needing to upgrade my speakers badly as they are currently all stock.

Head unit:
I am going to run a Pioneer PRS80 or a AVH-P6300BT as my head unit to replace my current Clarion VZ401.

Speakers/Tweeters:
Thinking about 2 sets of AQ super tweeters for the pillars(2 in each pillar) and was going to do 2 6.5 pro audio drivers in each door, but am looking for opinions on them.

Amp(s):
I was considering just picking up the Crescendo C1100.4(most likely the older one), but once again. Looking for opinions.

Now the biggest issue is I have no idea about crossovers or processors and what I need for that area.

Any help would be appreciated and I'm not to worried about the budget. It is going to be an over the winter project, but lets keep it halfway cheap and not outrageous(no zed audio or anything that pricey, even tho they are sweet lol).

The product I would buy for active processing is a mini dps 2x4

MiniDSP 2x4 RevB | miniDSP

As long as you have a computer you can change the xover settings as you like.

Generally speaking you HPF mids 80 to 100hz and LPF them from 2khz to 4khz depending on the mid. Then the tweets HPF 2khz to 4khz depending on the tweet.

As for tweets and mids as long as you go with something you have seen quite a few guys run before you should be fine. I wouldn't use your first time around to try out a no name brand.

That amp should work fine too.

Better SQ by far. More control over the response in your vehicle.

also passive xovers have limited control over adjusting the tweet to mid output ratio. Running active each speaker will have a gain to it.

So it may be worth the money to go active and just try to find some decent equipment used for a little cheaper.
