Default 2 way component system, but which one??

Well decided against going with pro audio(even tho I really wanted to try out a pair of those super tweeters). Going to just go with a 2 way component setup, ran off a Crescendo C1100.4 and the Pioneer prs80 headunit. Just looking for something that will sound good when I am daily driving and get mildly loud(while still sounding good) for when I got my bass on.

Problem is I am stuck between 5 different sets that all seem to have good reviews. I am also up for other recommendations as well so an other choice will be in there as well, but please be specific

1. RE XXX6.5C
2. Boston Acoustics PRO60SE
3. DLS Ultimate UP6i
4. Kicker RS65.2
5. Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1

Sundown has a new set that looks promising. JBL ms-62c are getting great reviews as well.

I also seen the AQ ones and I guess crescendo has a new set coming out. I'm gonna give this a few days and see what other people say tho.

I'll have to agree on the JBL's. They are getting RAVE reviews from people that know. If I was buying new with a $250 budget, it would be a no brainer.

I haven't looked at the Sundown Reference line, but I'd trust Jacob to do it right. Whats the price going to be on them?

For a "budget" option... the B2 Audio es6.1 "i" looks impossible to beat.

I should probably say I am willing to spend $300-$400 tops. If the set is more I may look into them used if they are highly recommended.

For under $200 those are a top choice on the list, but like I said, I would like to give this a few days so I can hear a good chunk of recommendations and opinions.

the JBLs can be had for $170 and Jacob said the Reference line should be under $200 from dealer. No clue what pre order will be though

Lets see what the next few days bring for opinions. I may get the JBL either way just cuz the price is amazing if they are as good as its seeming so far.

I think you would have to really push that $400 budget or bust it to get any better than the JBL's, IMO.

I ended up buying the polk audio MM6501 component set few months ago. This set sounds amazing, I was wowed. You can find a set for around $200-$250.
