Default Can increasing the gauge of speaker wires change clarity and power ?

Have my mids in the doors playing lower than the mids in the middle console ran fresh wire to the ones in the middle console. Will larger wire to doors help?

Have you tried swapping the hookups on the amp to see if it's the amp that is giving the console drivers more power?

Are you using one amp for all 4?

How much power are you pushing to all speakers, and how much power do the amp or amps put out?

i did a test spl wise and gained 0.0db from swapping from 14 gauge to 8 gauge on my subwoofers. I doubt making the wire bigger will make any difference.

If you are using stock wiring to the doors, that might be the problem. Stock speakers are rated at?? Head units put out 20w rms or so IIRC. They weren't thinking "let's put in speaker wire that will handle 10 times what the stock head unit puts out, in case someone puts in some high power speakers" when they designed the car

It sounds like that is your problem. You can even try one channel on one door and one channel on one speaker wired directly to the door (same distance) with bigger wire. Should tell you if it's the wire size or not.
