Better quality 4ch amp?

Do you guys think i should stick with my Crossfire Bmf600.4 over a JL 300/4?(i can get a minty 300/4 for 150$) Or would you switch to the JL 300/4? I believe my Crossfire has more power behind it, but ive heard many people rave about the SQ that the JL 300/4 has. Just trying to get an idea if its worth the change

Ive never heard the crossfire 4 channel, however, the jl 300/4 is the best sounding 4 channel Ive ever heard!! It's just dont have the power behind it!!

And where do you find a minty JL 300/4 for 150$ ? Thats a great price. I would buy that one just for the price. Alpine makes some great speaker amps but they are pricey as well.

It sounds clear and crisp, but does not have the volume (power) that the other 4 channel amps have.

If $150 is your budget then I say get the JL. If not there's plenty of great sounding amps out there.

unless youre having issues why change ? there isnt much difference in the crossovers JL is a lil better it goes up to 500hz i cant find the THD or the crossfire but im sure the difference is negligible between the two. The CF is rated for more power. I wouldnt mess with it unless i knew i would get my money for the JL out of the crossfire. i mean unless your having problems with the CF i doubt youd notice a difference by just switching and not changing anything else.

No im not having any issue with my Crossfire amp, i actually love it....but i was just curious if id notice a difference by switching from my Crossfire to the JL slash only bc i hear so many people say how they love their 300/4's over anything they've had....but i do believe my Crossfire Bmf600.4 is a beat on power being its ratings are at 12.8v vs your typical 14.4v. Guess all in all im trying to clean up my mids & highs stage. My budget is around 400$ for a mids highs 4ch or even 2-2ch amps as cableguy mentioned?
