Default too much tweeters?

so im just starting to get into the sq side of car audio. and this is what i have planned..
2 6.5 cdt midbass woofers (already bought)
4 vifa 1" silk dome tweeters; 2 per side
4 focal polyglass 165cvx coaxial speakers; two per side
and then a pair of each in my trunk ledge thing. (not sure what to call it)
all being ran from a 80prs. amp for the midbass woofers are still to be determined

the more i think about this the more i feel like this will be an extreme amount of tweeters and will render the highs unbearable, but not quite sure. just figure i'd get some opinions on this.

Why even bother with the coaxials? Why not get 3 6.5"s and 3 tweeters per side?

Then you can get all matching.

Sounds kinda odd to get 1 6.5 mid, 2 tweeters and then 2 6.5" 2 ways per side...

That's a lot of f'n tweeters.

And a pair of what "each" on the rear deck?

If you're set on this sort of setup, I'd do a midbass and a coax per door, one tweet per side and a pair of coax in the rear deck. That's still a whole lot going on though.

x2 what Korey said.

All you need is good components run active and you are all set. The Vifa tweets good. CDT mids good. Add a PPI Phantom 900.4 or equivalent active capable four channel and you are all set. Cross it at 3000Hz and you are all set.

... That many speakers all over the place is not SQ, its just loud.

The speakers you have will get stupid loud already! Loud and clear I should say.

Alright, thanks. I found some focals 6.5s that ill be using for the doors. one more question, I've seen pictures of the 80prs with what looks like a low-to-high level converter. Could I use that on the cdt's? I was hoping I wouldn't need an amp to power them, but if I do so be it. Just curious

I don't get how you guys can say that a 1:1 tweeter/mid ration will not sound good.

You can always get a PAC lc-1 for $10 and level them out. Maybe even 2. Since he's dropping that much anyway, what's another $20-$30 to have instant access to the level of the tweeters and mid ranges?

I have one tweet in the a-pillar and a 6.5" on the floor. even with a crossover on 2k which is also crossing out anything under 2k on even the door mids, it's still pretty damn balanced to me...

Everyone is different I guess. The girl at the local car audio shop didn't like when I turned the treble up a little bit on the display 6.5" components....

I am saying it because it will sound like crap, it will be very confused sounding and not clear at all.
