So this weekend I'll be tearing down and rebuilding my car and I may add some rear fill. I know that a lot of people don't like this because it pulls the sound stage back but this is actually what I want. I like being surrounded by the music, rather than having it all come from the front.
What speakers would be acceptable for rear fill? I have heard to only use midbasses because having highs back there can cause undesirable effects.
I'll be able to control everything I have via my RF 360.3 so they will be T/A'd and all of that good stuff. My front stage consists of HAT Imagine 6.5s active on a Cadence ZRS-C9 so the rear fill speakers will need to be somewhat compatible with them.
