Default (4) Silver Flute 8s + (2) Supremo tweets ??

i am thinking about running four silver flute 8s and two supremo tweeters. will the 8s be too much for the tweeters or will i need a PA tweeter to keep up?

no just to sound good. i'll explain i don't use the term SQ anymore because what most consider SQ i think is going too far for ME and does not sound good for modren r-n-b and rap. i have had a few set ups that would be considered SQ and I have not heard many with a great output(sql). i like the clarity and tone of SQ but need more volume.

I dont think you need a PA tweet to keep up with that. Have you ever considered wave guides such as finding Some Image dynamics Horns? What wil be your amount of power you will be running?

With that being the case you probably can run a traditional car audio tweeter if that's what you want. Some people may pan this Idea but I have ran Morel drivers with Soundstream SST-05 super tweeters and that sounded pretty damn good. I mainly listen to Rap and Rock n Roll and the super tweets kind of help add the brighter sound (not harsh) that I like

silver flutes are a good deal. Supremo tweeters are too expensive IMO.

parts-express has plenty of $30-$60 tweeters which will do the exact same job.

The sound will come down to how you power them and the final settings you make.

i already have the supremos. my set up will be 3 zuki eleets a bit one and whatever drivers i figure will work the best. also how many tweeters will take 200watts at 2500hz crossover point.
