Default Need a loud front stage

A good friend wants me to redu his speakers in his 2004 monte carlo, with the goal of making it "ear piercing, in your face" loud, while still sounding crisp. He wants to have bass, but he listens to alot of metal and is more after picking up the kick drums, and being able to pick up triplets, ect. He cant have subs, as he is in a wheelchair, and needs the space in the trunk incase he has passengers in the car and needs the trunk space for his wheelchair. His doors have stock spots for 6.5" speakers and a spot for a tweeter, and 6x9s in the back.. Im not afraid to do a little fiberglassing if need be, but hes trying to stay on a budget. He already has a decent JVC deck, and is after an amp and speakers. What would be a good setup for around $350-$450 that would meet his expectations?

SIlver flute 8" drivers in the doors for sure. Super tweets and a 6.5" PA speaker in each door.

That should grab some attention.

I LOVE my aq tweets...they scream and I literally don't have the gain even turned on my amp...so if he wants scream and sound good, id do them, especially for the price...but those vifas are really nice too...the aq's will be much louder but with the proper tweaking, I THINK those vifa's could sound better...and ive never had any issues with my aq2200's (that wasn't my own fault) so id assume the mid amps are just as good

And i see on the silver flute product description that they have a recommended enclosure size... Will these not sound right in a custom door pod? Or would I need the pod to have a sealed section for this driver?

im not an expert on those mids so I cant say BUT I would assume they would like to be sealed...in my experience, ALL of my mids sounded better sealed off...I get very solid midbass from my aq's highpassed at 100hz...my doors are solid as shit inside and out

Awesome. So if I had the 8s 6.5s and tweeters how would you go about connecting all to 4 channel amp? Should I run a crossover between the 6.5s and tweets on front channels and run the 8s on the rear channels? Does a guy normally run pa speakers with a crossover?
