Default Brainstorming front stage

I'm down for a few day for recovery from a surgery. So I'm brainstorming about my front stage.

99 2dr blazer is the vehicle.

Right now I'm thinking about loading my pillars will multiple full range drivers. Not really looking for super ess que but half assed decent imaging and response. The sub stage is going to be decently loud so I need loud up front.

Right now, I'm looking at 3-4 of these per pillar. I really like the look of these too.
Dayton Audio RS100-8 4" Reference Full-Range Driver 295-352

Possibly four of these.
Dayton Audio ND91-8 3-1/2" Aluminum Cone Full-Range Driver 8 290-226

Then I like the idea of 6 of these in each pillar but I need to make sure they'll fit

Dayton Audio DS90-8 3" Designer Series Ext-Range Driver 295-422

For the door, I'm looking mainly low power 8" subs 2-4 per depending price and power. I don't plan on going higher than 250hz,

Maybe two of these per door
Peerless 830667 8" Paper Cone SLS Subwoofer 264-1102

Or four of these.
Dayton Audio DA175-8 7" Aluminum Cone Woofer 295-335

orrrrr
Dayton Audio SD215A-88 8" DVC Subwoofer 295-484

All over the place. Just getting some of these ideas out of my head.

I would leave space for one dedicated tweeter in each pillar. You got 6 channels potentially. . Use em.

There's going to be tweeters in the dash but it depends on if they image well. I think I really like all the 3's

If you used the 4's you wouldn't need a tweeter. They'll play over 17k easy. Less crossover points to match make the seams easier to blend. Kinda what I'm looking to do next. 6.5's or 8's and a good wide band 3. Anything over 16-17khz you won't hear anyways. But 4's might look gaudy in the pillars.

You may get stereo separation but your not getting any imaging with this plan.

I kind of want to buy a pair just to play with. See what they like and if I like the sound. But I agree with not needing tweeters with the 4s

Imaging isn't top priority with this. The main concern is clarity while halfway keeping up with the substage.

As long as diffraction is kept in line clarity shouldn't be a huge issue.

It's definitely going to be some work and experimentation.

If you like lead guitars you'll love 4"s. How about a 3 way set up? 8 mid bass 4" mid and some tweets? Back in the day when stealth was cool peeps hide tweets in the air cond vents. No one dose that anymore. Years ago I had a samurai I put tweets in the dash because that was the only place I could fit them with mids in the kicks. It sounded way better than coax in the kicks but the imaging wasn't all that. For best results (which you probably already know) mount tweets as close to and below center in front of the mid. The mid bass is less directional. Think of speakers as lens on a light. Bass flood lights, mids spot lights and tweets as pencil beams. Now think of them on a stage and how they reflect on the subjects.
