so I just got my wife a 2014 equinox and it needs a speaker upgrade badly. looking for a decent set of components and 8"subrecommendations to replace factory sub. all will be ran off the new ppi amps

I was looking to stay under 300 on comps I'd that changes anything. I wanted to run a 3way setup by I'm not cutting up Any panel. the Dayton looks great hopefully it'll fit depth wise

those ID's are probably the best budget comps I know of. Imagine I61-2V2 6.5" Component / Coaxial Speaker Set - 12v Electronics
these are much better but the tweeters can be a little loud for most people, theyare designed to be used primarily as a coaxial or with the tweeter very near by. They will have kick your ass in the mibass area.
