Default Getting rid if noise.

How do you guys do it? I've gotten mine down but not gone.
Amps are Grounded to the shock tower, rca's are chassis grounded, headunit is chassis grounded, no noise car off but when you start it you get some.

On GM vehicles I usually run the head unit ground to the amp ground terminal itself (not the same grounding point as the amp)

i had the same problem for about a year.

relocating the RCAs away from any power source/wire got rid of most of the noise, but the final thing that killed it was moving my crossovers AWAY from any bare metal, wire clusters, or potential ground sources.

let me know if this works for you!

I can try moving my crossovers, I've ran the wires outside of the car and still had noise. I can try better rca's later on as well I guess.

yeah. for me the wires werent the issue, but the board of the crossover was interfering with the ground of the car while it was on.

I got rid of my alt whine by kicking my 4chan to the curb and installing two 2chan amps instead.

{that's right.. I got rid of my ground loop by adding more wiring}

alts give more ripple when they start to go out... that could be the problem also

weirdest thing is I switched to balanced inputs.... it gets worse. I've been thinking of selling the zapco's for mosconis but I don't want any issues before hand.
