Default You ever?

Get a system done and running to exact specs you wanted and then be I pleased? I've done it 3 times in a row now. I love my front stage, feel meh on my sub stage. First was an x8 in a tline, than same sub tuned to 20hz, than I ran an ampere 12" sealed, now I've got 2 epic 8's. Now I'm driving about an hour to see if I can find some 15's to run.....

You know how this works. Once you are fully satisfied with your system. That's the end. You always have to keep adjusting, changing etc.

Is it possible for sq soundstage mids/highs to keep up with a 150+ substage? I'd imagine that would be pretty hard. Hell I've got a single dc m2 xl 15 on a saz2500 and have somewhat decent sq and its having trouble keeping up with my substage. And another thing with sq is it's all in interpretation....someone may think it dosent sound good but with spl and being loud as fawk....mostly everyone can appreciate that lol

Is it possible? Im sure it is. The issue is that 150 db isnt anything resembling sq. Sq is as quantifiable as spl.

Pressure distorts sound waves. I can turn my sub stage down and still be somewhat close to sq though. I'm working in designs right now to see what I can do

At what decibel point approximately, dose sq get so loud, that it's not sq anymore.

There isn't a set point it's where the turbulence in your car starts affecting how things sound. Honestly a front stage that correctly covers a 150db sub stage would make you go deaf almost instantly

I'm attempting a 3-way SQL build in my blazer. Walling 4 18" zv4's on 2 bc5500's(17V with 8 banks). Got 2 ZED Leviathan's, 2 dayton 10" PA (I know I know) but it's only midbass up to 400hz. 6 dayton 4" reference mids to cover 400hz to 3-4khz. 6 dayton nd20 tweeters to add the sparkle.

Got my doors built just needs bondo and sanding, haha catch that "just". I'll post a build log when I finally get a photobucket.
