silver flute users!!!
I recently switched to active with the pa speakers I have and hate the sound that I'm getting from em. Need good midbass and I see a lot of people recommending the silver flutes. My question is do they require enclosures? And how much power can the take?

I used mine set of 6.5's on a Orion 400.2 (100w rmsx2). They do not get super loud but have a great amount of midbass and the wool cone sounds great. Try running them active and see if you like them.

I loved mine. I had them crossed from 63hz with a 24db slope up to 2500hz with a 24 db slope and they sounded great. Had them powered by an id q700.2
