Default Sundown and Hertz

So I have a new sundown sax100.4v2 and currently have Rockford t2 components in the doors. They sound good but after listening to some Hertz HSK 163 3 way components at SBN I fell in love with them. My question is will the sundown do them justice as far as sound and also would they be loud enough to keep up with my bottom end witch is a sundown scv3000 on sundown x12v2 tuned to 30hz? The Hertz would be passive with the mid and tweet in the A-piller and woofer in the factory location. The car is small, Lexus IS300. Thanks

I ran my hertz mille 6.5s and a brovax cf5.25 comp set on my sae 100.4 and they sounded great. I would think they would keep up with the sub stage pretty good. I ran mine with 2 15s and a 5k and they did ok but I was giving them a pretty good beating so I pulled them out and went back to my sundown neo v2 6.5s. I will save them for a more sq build I have in mind...

I'd suggest the XL if you can spring for them. They have more midbass and were designed just for people who want to use larger subwoofers that don't play higher bass as well and will be louder in general

I just picked up a set of the HSK165XL's and hope they sound as good as my old Millie's did.

I'm glad to hear god things about Hertz I am picking up a set of the HSK 163's myself to install in the doors of my Mk5 Jetta after learning that there isn't much else that will "fit" in the doors. I'm looking at either the Sundown SAE-1100.5 or JL 900/5 along with my current 12w3 so I hope that should be a good combo. It will be a few months before I install everything though so I don't have any real world input for you OP sorry.
