I have engine whine in my front spkrs and it is annoying I did not install myself and don't how everything is routed any suggestions on how to get rid of it ? Thanks
other ideas;
Keep power wires away from signal wires.
Use one ground. not separate grounds.
Do not make an RCA "service loop" near any power wires.
[A service loop is a roll of wire..makes a very nice inductor for engine noise]
The tiny wire sometimes found in RCAs is NOT a remote lead. Do not use it as one. it is a source ground intended to aid in the rejection of induced noise.
you may also check the receivers ground make sure its a great ground...sometimes factory stereo grounds dont work well with aftermarket receivers
