ok so my question is on the port area of an aero. an 8" aero is huge for this size of box. if i am understanding correct it 3.14x8 squared, so 64x3.14=200.96 sq inches or no? if this is correct and even if i built the box at 3 cubes thats 66 inches of port per cube. seams way to big especially for an aero which are supposed to be more effecient. i just want to make sure im understanding fully

Its pi * r^2 to calculate area for a circle.

So 3.1415 * 4^2 = ~50 in^2. I would personally stick with a 6". You don't need as much port area when working with aeros.

aeroport work with 6 to 10" per cube
a 8" aero would HAVE to be external and wayyy to much port area per cube..
figure what .5 cubes net per woofer.. so a 2 cube total net box
two 4" aeros or a single 6
depending on how its layed out the 6" would have to be external also ( unless u did a wide box and fired to the side like now)

so a 6" would be ~113. and that still would 37 per cube on a 4 8's box. that seems very large even for a slot port?

where in the hell are you getting these numbers??
a 8" aero is 50sq inches
a 4" is 12.5sq inches and a 6" is like 28sq inches

Where you getting that number from? 6" port has a 3" radius. 3*3*pi = 28.27
