The mention of me ďriggingĒ any test is absolutely absurd. I donít work for ANY mfg, Iím completely independent. I test amps and show results and as anyone who has a Dyno knows, you canít fake or rig the results. Itís understandable if a mfgís amps donít perform as expected, then the finger has to be pointed somewhere. But even the hint of me doing something unethical is 🤬

Iíll reserve any further comment until I get in the new amp to test.

Also, the slap contest in the video was all in good fun, no disrespect intended. Orion was on the receiving end of those slaps in a video last year (Ztreet 8k vs Soundstream 8k). Got me blocked from their Facebook page (Iím still blocked). IDGAF. I do what I do for my viewers, thatís it.

and thats a recent amp, what about from 2000 to 2015ish? Every test I had seen showed they were over rated...

that is right after DEI bought them. PPI too for that matter. the powerclass amps of that same era had very similar woes

Was no disrespect to you personally, but using process of elimination, all scenarios must be applied. If you read the first post youll see that, and i believe that is where ALL "rigging" mentionings are stemming from. Dont look into it like that, as i didnt mean it that way.

Actually, they didn't exactly go to hell after DEI. The DEI era brought the Orion 2500d, Directed 2400, Viper 2500.1...those were decent and put out. It was after Epsilon Electronics bought them. That's when they went the Power Acoustic route.

The Orion 2500d is a legendary amp. Came out in early 2000s. Really under rated. Did rated at 12v and 3k+ at 14v

Problem was, that was 3 of probably over 20 different amps, shoot there are probably 20 brands out there which had 1 or 2 good amps and the rest advertised with way overrated specs....

Orion got caught up in the looks over performance scene while still selling at top dollar which hurt them with their fans...

Default might be over rated

Ask yourself this.....the scv 3000 has the same guts as the saz 2500v2. And the 3k even calls for the same size fuse the 2500 did which is 250 amp. I had a saz 1500v3 , the only saz that had 3 versions i think. I took the back off and laid beside my buddies scv 2000 and damn if we could find the differnce. And his 2k called for 150 amp fuse just like my 1500. It kinda looks like the older saz's did more than rated so they tweeked a few circuits to limit the scv's from going over 15 volts like the saz's could and slapped a 500 higher digit number on the cover. saz1500v3 saz2500v2 saz3500v2 saz4500 are scv's 2k 3k 4k 5k. And their fuse ratting kinda hints to it..........just saying
