yes there is an engine under there. Dmoney came to me after i did everything else and asked what else he could do. i told him he needed to do something under the hood. when at car shows you need to show alot. well, they dont make a whole lot of stuff engine wise for his car, and he didn't really want to spend 10k on engine work, turbo, etc. so he asked me what i could do. i went to bed that night thinking about it, and woke up the next morning with this idea. the car is only driven to and from car shows. thats it. and when at most shows they are inside. so i made a mold of the original hood, then went from there. the hood piece took me about a week. the dash took the longest, as i hand carved that skull with a dremmel. you can even feel the teeth.
btw... the trunk part i did when i was at another shop. we did it in LineX with it painted to match the dark green of the car. this was to give it a graveyard look. but when we went do the other parts we changed it to smooth glasswork, painted. he wants to redo the trunk now smooth as well. and i may change it up some. I have offered him a sponsorship using Powerbass products, and if he does it, i'm going to do something really crazy.
we will see.
