First of all, good luck, it's never easy.

Box. To start with, tune higher. Point blank, without a bandpass or a ported box with higher tuning, I seriously doubt the goal of 150 is going to be broken.

Deadener. Second Skin is generally the standard. SPL tiles are great and Rick at Raamat has BXTII out now, it's a cheaper alternative that is also good deadener.

Alternator. Voltage is always a plus.

Batteries. The BT80's are good batteries, but maybe add one or two, if you're absolutely wanting to chase the goal.

what would you consider a good tuning seeing as though i still want it to pllay music good, also im tracking on batts if voltage becomes a problem its too easy for me to increase my battery bank, i will look into this raamat thing thanks for the input

That won't be as hard as they say in a trail blaser. I'm doing a 152 in mine with my vfl 175.1 rated at 3500 watts. And 2 15s. Sub up port back works best. And tune to about 40-45 hz.

Oh and IV added dynamat in all my doors roof and Flore and for some reason I didn't gain at all.I no you have a lot of flex on your back fenders. I put expanding foam between my panels and fenders and my rear hatch door. And that helped the most. Just becarefull with the foam on the hatch you wanna still be able to open it.

I compete out here in san Antonio and I'm limited to just 2 batteries. Stock sly but upgraded to 200 amps. Other then that. If you want to gain just for the mic. Sinvisors down hold the pasenger door. And don't hold back window that hurts your score.
