pretty much thats what im thinking i know i may have to much power but its only gotta last a couple months also whether to do them in a wall or just a regular ported box

regular box, ports back subs up around 6cubes. Also there is a gain knob on the amp correct? turn it down! my single type r took around 1100 daily for a month or so before it fried in 2cubes ported tuned to 42hz. it was pretty loud.

Yea Id say do the 4 of em in 6 to 7.5 cubes would be good. Turn the gain down and slowly turn it up to where they can take the power. Most of my friends have had 4 type r 12s in blazers and absolutely loved em. Just not off that kind of power lol
