Default new build in mind

hey guys. im new here to TT and really just starting to get into car audio real heavy and will be building my first compitition setup.

i am really looking for some advice on the route i should go. it will be walled for one thing. oh and this build will be on a 2000 explorer sport i have a couple of ideas and would like some input on them. the things i will have in this are as follows:

4 mb quart pvi216 premium comps with a MB Quart DSC 480 to run them on the front and rear stage.

double layer sound damp from the dash back dual 250-300 amp ALTs

several deka intimadors (31 series) amount is to be determind on the amps and number of amps

only thing that im still not sure on is the subs and amps. here are a few thoughts i have.

option 1:

2 orion HCCA 15.4 wired down to 2 ohm with 2 audiopipe AP30001D amps pushing them

option 2:

4 orion hcca 15.4 with 4 AP30001D amps (1 to each sub of course)

what do you guys think? any thoughts or ideas, hints, helpful tips?

Personally I'd try 2-15's with a corpous amount of power behind them. Maybe try the 4 ap3ks on the two hcca's and then upgrade from there? That way you get to experiment a little easier with your box and find what works rather than just stuffing a crap-load of equitment in the van.

Your electrical is solid even with 4 batteries IMO and it's gonna be loud either way so why not start small and grow? Just saying you know.

dont listen to these guys, go big or go home

but you shouldnt need more then 5 batteries for 4 of those amps imo

i only have 2 125ah batts for my amp (~6k @.5ohm) and i only drop to about 13v from 15v on a long burp
