Default Trouble getting power out of pair of RE Audio ZTX 5000.1's

Having trouble getting rated power out of these amps...

Rated at 2500 @ 1-ohm, (1700 @ 2-ohms) power we're seeing - 47.4 volts and 22.8 amps, so only seeing around 1100 out of the pair combined (@ 1.8-ohms), should easily be doing twice that... All the onboard crossover settings were disabled during this testing, and battery voltage is dropping to around 12.2... not great, but I've gotten waaaay more power with less voltage on other setups.

Thoughts?

If there not strapped how are you clamping them

Not strapped - just clamping the positive wires together.
Electrical is factory alternator and a decent size battery up front, 2 group 31's in the back - but we're just talking burps here, plenty of power for ~2k

Okay - user error, figured out what was up... I was clamping positive leads from both amps together and neglected to divide by 2 when doing my impedance calculation, each amp is seeing 4 ohms - not 2, so the power is about where it should be...
=)
