Knukonceptz fuses
Bought 6 knukonceptz 150 amp fuses, 3 for use, 2 as spares, one to test accuracy of rating.
Well first fuse was 385 amps initial then 280+ for over 10 sec till I stopped. Didn't pop
Decided to test the rest
Knukonceptz fuses don't blow - YouTube
I would not recommended the fuses

the fuse is being shorted, the current flow is the only thing being tested. if it was really loose and making a horrible connection then 300 amps wouldn't be able to pass thru. BUT, 300+ did pass thru a 150 amp fuse and it didn't blow. so in a nut shell, loose = irrelevant in this test

But wouldn't there not be a solid enough connection to get to the actual piece of metal that is designed to pop? It seems like the ends are melting off because that is the only part of the fuse that is completing the circuit.
I'm not saying you're wrong, and if this sounds completely ridiculous than disregard everything I said, but nobody hooks up their fuses like that, lol.

the center piece, in the test, is still seeing 300+ amps which is the test. if you look in the picture with 2 fuses in my hand, that fuse was shorted with bolts holding the ends as if it was mounted. the only thing it did was melt a hole through the fuse blocks bolt
