For any of you guys that might have heard about the Ohmega Switch and were curious if it caused a loss in SPL.
Plus you get to see my car burped on mains power LOL.
Just gonna copy the facebook post.
"It's come to our attention that there are some doubts regarding the use of the Ohmega Switch and negatively affecting SPL. We have made this video to clear up any misinformation and put the topic to rest. The Ohmega Switch DOES NOT cause a drop in SPL. If you don't want to watch the whole video (it is long) then you can just look at the data here.
We ran 5 SPL runs. All of which were performed in a controlled environment with a fixed power source. The first 3 were to establish a baseline WITHOUT the switch installed. Those scores were as follows:
About a .3 db spread or window for acceptable scores with the switch. After installing the switch we then ran two more tests.
As you can see the Ohmega Switch did not cause a drop in SPL whatsoever. This is further backed up by our testing with power loss via the switch which was roughly .1% which equates to a .004 DB differential. So you can rest assured that this switch will not only save you time in the lanes, it won't hurt your score AT ALL."
**To respect the rules of this forum I can/will not conduct business/sales on here.. If you are interested then you can look up the "Ohmega Products" page on facebook. Just here to share some testing data.
