1.) What brand and size battery.
XS Power XP3000
2.) How many.
3.) What material to be used.
Just for everyones info, yes aluminum will be alot cheaper versus copper, and I can work with either one, so it is up to your budget.
4.) Tapped holes for ring terminals or direct wire
input using set screws.
Direct wire input.
Once again tapped holes will be cheaper, as I need to use a min of 1" thick material for the direct wire
5.) How are you going to have them layed out. Will they be back to back, or spacing in between each?
Back to Back.
6.) What size screw does your batteries use( if that is the style of connection). Not all batteries use the same screw size.
M6 style terminal.
7.) A picture of the battery you have. There are old and new ones of the same size and brand out there, and they have some differences to them.
XS Power XP3000 (xp3000) 12-Volt Deep Cycle AGM Power Cell with 3000 Max Amps
I also ask for a quick measuring of your batteries and how they are layed out so the buss bars will be a great fit. Below is a drawing of the basic measurements I would need off a single battery, and then for multiples.
