Default Mic placement jig for Termlab

Can you make a mic placement jig for a Termlab mic that would align the mic on the windshield? The placement for the mic is 12" from the pillar and 4" above the dash. Someone correct me if I 'm wrong.

Please let me know.

12" from the pillar seems too far. IIASCA puts it about 4" from pillar

The one I made at finals was to IASCA specs. i can make them out of aluminum or plexi.

I can generously round the edges on them, to help deter scracthing, but would still leave some responsibility to the person placing it.
