Hummm the sensitivity could be higher, some subs are around 88dB or higher but most high-power subs are 86dB or below.

It has a low fs though...The mms is 361gs.

It has the sensitivity of your standard 8... Qes is abnormally high so you'll def need more than rms power to get any usable output from it if you tune it for flat response. Def a sub to tune higher than optimum. If the sens was close to listed, it would be a very nice woofer, also, the surrounds are junk. a lil cold and they turn into lead.

Yeah those subs wouldn't work in the winter. I had a cheap Sony sub that wouldn't even move when it gets below 40 degrees, some kind of cheap rubber surround. Foam/cloth don't really have that problem but cloth is not for high excursion and foam will crack within 3 years of heavy use.

The tall rubber surround from TC Sounds seems to be the best IMO for now.

nbr 1/2 roll from tc2K ftw, exceptionally linear and temp stable like no other, tall has non linear compliance throughout stroke
