anyone got any guidance in hooking up one of these blue box voltage regulators from mechman

would also be interested in a tutorial on this. Doesnt a relay have to get wired in as well?

Also would like to know if theres any differences in wiring if you are running two seperate c charging systems. I tried google searching this but came up with nothing helpful

I'm curious too. I know nothing about regulators as I've never had to hook one up. Can you hook them up to any alt or do they have plugs just for external regulators?

yea if you have 2 different charging systems its different

but the field wire goes to the alternator

the batt + goes to the battery that the alt will be charging

and then ground it

a relay isnt necessary but cant hurt

any wire should work fine speaker wire is completely adequate keep the box close to the alternator
