Default Gorilla glue vs Gorilla Wood glue

So I found Gorilla wood glue in home depot and thought great! gorilla glue for wood? Figuring it's better than that titebond stuff so I got some. REAL Gorilla glue is exxxpensive like $19 for a bottle the same size as the wood glue bottle that's only $6-7 ~16-20oz. So I did a strength test between the two. I cut 4 peices of 3/4" ply on 45's and glued them together. I let them sit for almost 2 days and used a blunt object to separate the glue bonds and here are the results.. Enjoy
Forgot to say the first was the Gorilla Wood Glue.

i've use to use Gorilla wood glue once upon a time and have since changed back to Titebond 2. Good comparison.

just curious but did you just apply the glue than press the 2 pieces together or did you clamp or weigh it down with anything?

Titebond 2 will do the job just as well as the Gorilla Wood Glue, normal gorilla glue is a big no no when it comes to building boxes
