and before i got the bodyfiller sanded


first time im pretty stoked about it

Looks like ya made to much with to much hardener and couldn't move it fast enough but over all looks good I was thinking a similar piece for my Deville ! I'll be waiting for end results

dont look bad for your first time!

Im sure you figured it out but those wrinkles on the bottom are gonna kill you when you start sanding.

Did you use any matt anywhere?

You've got a job on your hands sanding that down. Be conservative with bondo/filler. Use an applicator and you'll come out alot better. It all comes with experience - great start, though!

How many layers of matt did you use? and that filler is going to be a bitch to sand.. good luck not a bad first time

you can get one of them triangle shaped dremel sanders to help you with the filler,

i got a palm sander with 6" pads, but you gotta have a good flat area to sand with it

Just use a die grinder with a 2 in pad to knock down that filler. And you can save yourself alot of time with a razor blade by cutting those highs down when the filler is in the green stage

well guys it only took me about 20 mins to sand it all up haha but i had a 6'' sander to help me out
this is what it turned out like, im so happy with the end result
and DAMN... i had type r 5.25s and wow, i didnt know i was lackin the mid bass.
the selenium 6s are BADASS. haha rolled around with my subs off and it sounded good AND WAY LOUD
but its kinda lop sided :/ but installed you could never tell
