Large flat rate box + (46) 12"x12"ish pieces of cardboard glued together and cut to fit the HDC3 motor.
24 pizza boxes were 'recycled' to make this container

{I shipped the motor in a two piece cardboard brick}

there's 3/4" of 1/8" cardboard layers above and 3/4" of 1/8" cardboard layers below the motor
[3/4" includes box flaps]... and 1 1/2"+ of cardboard on all four sides.

and I added tape back to an old tape roll to make a gap filler

I taped it damn near waterproof.

Nice man, we need more good tutorials. Seems like all we've had lately are dicks who don't know shit trying to play it off like they do.

I think it's probably because that sub is not moving enough to allow it to cool.. Id turn the gain up a bit so it moves more for cooling reasons.. That's why it's hard on subs to be underpowered..

I kinda felt retarded cutting all those circles.. and the holes kinda looked retarded because I used a stanley knife and went as fast as I could.
but it worked

average week, probably two large pizzas
the deal is there are two ways to get free pizza from papjohns..
the club cards get stamped each visit.. 10 visits = free medium 1 topping
and papa-rewards.. 2 points for $10 order.. 25 points = free large 3 topping

papajohns boxes are usually almost as good as new. {not greasy}
Dominos boxes are usually decent. {not too greasy}
Little Cesars boxes are usually pretty greasy
Pizza hut boxes are usually wrecked. they are "greasy as fawk!!"

note, one could skip the majority of the pizza boxes and just use 4 layers above and 4 layers below.. and buy a pool noodle to fill the rest of the space.

don't forget to tape the hell out of the box though! just cuz it's rated at 70# doesn't mean the corners can take it.
